I loved how I had to walk only 5 minutes to catch a bus that would take me to Bergamo. And who needs a footpath anyway? It's much more exciting to partially walk on the road! Free bicycles were also a nice touch, in case I wanted to risk my life on the streets again.

Not having a footpath was absolutely delightful, but the noise from the traffic was the cherry on top.

The room at Villa Palma was absolutely fantastic, with all the charm and amenities you would expect from an Italian home. The highlight was definitely the balcony overlooking Lago di Iseo, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast options were good, and they even made brewed coffee for me, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the extra bed in the room, as I prefer not to sleep in a bed with a footboard. The property was well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout. I highly recommend this hotel for its cozy rooms, stunning views, and friendly service.

Beautiful building with original frescoes, there's even a playground if you have kids. Oh, and they provide free WiFi, so you can post selfies with those frescoes.

Just a small detail, the WiFi was faster than my tea service. How am I supposed to Instagram my fabulous vacation?

Views of Lake Iseo and Val Camonica were absolutely stunning! It felt like waking up in a painting every morning.

No sidewalk on the main road.

The view from the room was absolutely stunning and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the owner was really helpful and friendly. The location was great, just a short walk to the city center.

The ferry service on Sundays was very limited, so it was difficult to explore the surrounding areas without a car. The bed linen and towels could have been of better quality.

Value for money was excellent; the room was large and comfortable, providing great value for the price. The location was convenient and the staff treated me with genuine warmth and hospitality.

Breakfast offerings could have had more healthy options.

I recently stayed at a lovely refurbished Art Deco building with period frescoes, marble bathrooms, and a great view. The couple who runs the property, Hugo and Francesca, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They offered secure parking, free bicycles, and a warm welcome. The B&B is conveniently close to the charming town of Lovere. The room was fantastic, with all the amenities expected in an Italian home. The unexpected treat was the balcony with a view of Lago di Iseo. Breakfast was delicious, and Pierugo made sure to accommodate my preference for brewed coffee. I enjoyed meeting the whole family, including their adorable pets. The property was clean and well-maintained, and I will definitely remember my stay here. I also appreciated the extra bed in the room, as it came in handy for my taller travel companion.
